To shammancz:
Sure! The XML looks like this:
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="ISO-8859-1"?>
<playlist>
<video url="http://www.yoursite.com/yourvideo.flv" desc="Caption" thumb="http://www.yoursite.com/yourthumbnail.jpg"/>
</playlist>
Let me know if you need further info. :)

thnx for info ... i have one last question, i need this player as a promo movie player on one of my websites so my question is following ... is it possible to modify this player to be a kind of lightbox, mediabox or whatnot, i was looking around and i dont want to use any sort of MoTools neither DOM libraries, so this player is ideal for me but need it in a lightbox-type player modification with faded background and stuff with one close button. If this would be possible ill definetly buy it.
Thanks in advance for any reply.

To shammancz:
You can embed the player like any other flash movie. To achive a lightbox-like effect you should make your custom flash movie which will load and handle the player with transitions and close button.
Feel free to download a FREE version of this player here: http://www.flvplayerlite.com

How does an XML playlist integrate with this player... I LOVE THE LOOK!
|

The playlist comes with autohiding and scrolling thumbnails with small captions. You can modify the look and feel with the provided sources. I didn't showcase the playlist as it would be easy to rip and use for other business as it's customizable with flashvars.

Can this play .mp4 and .mov files?

Yes, it can play any H.264 encoded video.

Great. Does it also autoplay, and how good is it to embed in another flash file?
|

I just bought it, I am embedding this into another flash file, is there a way to autoplay it. Currently I can only see this in the html? but not the flash file itself...also is there a way to adjust the aspect ratio?
|

Yes it can autoplay and you can set 4 aspect ratios along with width and height. Everything is explained here: http://flvplayerlite.com/documentation/supported-variables-for-flash/

To newimage: You cannot view your video locally due the flash security sandbox. You can view it only online.

thanks, are these things configurable in the flash file itself. I am calling this file into my .swf site, and I wasn't sure if these parameters could be change from within flash.
|

Refer to the embedExample file for loading and configuration. You can change anything from within flash.

OKay, I'm having some problems, I have a movie thats 720x480 but the player isnt showing the whole thing, when I resize the player, it just cuts the video off.

I checked the action script, and did what it sad, however, when loading the playerLite.swf into my website, it does not load the embed file, only the bare playerlite file. It shows the controls etc... but no video or anything else.
