like this:

1) Change the number after the equal sign to control the speed

mc_holder._x -= 1;

2) Change the minus(-) to plus(+) before the equal sign to control the direction

mc_holder._x += 1;

Changing the background

You can change the background as long as the
image will stay in the same directory with the
flash movie, and have the same title and the
same extension(png),so you don't have to use
Flash programm every time you want to change
the background image and altering the code.
